Stone-ground wholemeal flour preserves all parts of the wheat kernel, resulting in a flour that is rich in fibre and has a pronounced flavour, like those of yesteryear. To enhance the nutritional characteristics of these flours, we have added wheat germ, rich in proteins, vitamins and essential fatty acids. The noblest part of wheat, it guards the embryo, hence the life of the grain.

The process is the same one we use to produce all our crispbreads. Hand-rolled after a very slow leavening process of at least 22 hours, with the commitment and love of those who have always made bread by shaping the dough with their hands, respecting the best artisan tradition and without the use of any food additives. More delicious than the usual loaves, they are the right accompaniment for every dish and every moment of the day.
